"Trenes Argentina communicates that the service of the Sarmiento line will be interrupted from 9 pm today due to the activation of the Covid-19 protocol . 50% of the employees in the Control Trains sector, the nerve center of the railway operation, are isolated by present symptoms compatible with the virus or be close contact of those affected, "the statement said.

And he adds that "in the face of a suspicious case, Trenes Argentinos has had a COVID protocol since the beginning of the pandemic that it applies immediately and responsibly, in order to preserve the health of passengers and passengers and company personnel."

So far, 427 workers have been infected and more than 1,600 have had to be isolated.
