US President Donald Trump has extensive experience in the field of luxury hotels, and as with most of the projects associated with it, the hotels he owns also hold to a standard that reflects wealth and the good life. The entire Trump hotel empire is rated at a 5-star level of accommodation and establishes hotels in iconic destinations. Just before the US election and during the corona period that fatally hit tourism we checked - how much would it cost to stay in one of its hotels?

Trump International Hotel Las Vegas - 64-story hotel. Despite its location in the heart of Las Vegas the hotel does not operate a casino with the aim of providing a different level of hospitality, with no tourists roaming the area with plastic utensils for carrying coins or chips. The hotel offers guests a free shuttle service to enjoy the surroundings of the hotel. Price today: about 550 shekels per night, four years ago: 1,130 shekels per night.

Trump International Hotel Washington DC - The Trump Hotel was built next to the White House in an old post office that has been restored and rebuilt with spacious rooms that include a living room, bedrooms and a kitchen. The hotel has a variety of services for a high level of hospitality, such as a barber and shoe polisher who will come to the room to cut, brush and arrange the appearance of the guests before leaving and more. Price today: about 1,200 shekels per night. The price four years ago: NIS 2,380 per night.

Trump International Golf Links & Hotel Ireland - The hotel is located in the dongle of Ireland and has a rural view. Hotel guests have access to a variety of outdoor activities such as fishing, horse riding, golf and surfing. It is suitable for families and offers spacious rooms and services for children such as a playground, babysitting services and more. Price today: about NIS 1,400 per night. Price four years ago: NIS 909 per night.

Trump International New York - Located in Manhattan, this hotel features luxurious rooms and views of Central Park that showcases the city's iconic skyline. Live music players can be invited to the rooms to make the atmosphere pleasant. Guests shopping in Manhattan can leave their bags in the store and hotel staff will pick them up at the room. Those who fall in love with the location can rent residential apartments in the building. Price today: about NIS 1,600 per night. Price four years ago: NIS 2,751 per night.

A review of the hotels shows a very clear trend. Hotels in the US are tens of percent cheaper than the prices offered four years ago. On the other hand, hotels in Ireland are more expensive now than four years ago. US tourism prices in general have dropped significantly due to the spread of the virus and with it hotel prices. Israelis can enter New York without the need to present a test or isolation, but are required to spend two weeks in isolation upon their return to Israel.

It is important to note that Trump offers some of his hotels to assist in the fight against the corona, both for medical staff and for patients. One of the hotels is the prestigious Trump SoHo New York that four years ago, the price of a room in it increased by about, 2400 shekels per night.
