The Health Ministry confirmed on Tuesday 52 new deaths from coronavirus in relation to the last report, making 3,863 fatalities in the country due to the pandemic.
The new deceased are 23 men; 14 with residence in the province of Buenos Aires, 7 in the City, 1 in Mendoza and 1 in Corrientes; and 28 women; 21 who lived on Buenos Aires land and 7 in the City of Buenos Aires.
The virus case fatality rate remains at 1.8%, while overall mortality reaches 84 people for every million inhabitants.
The level of occupation of intensive care beds, one of the items to which the Government pays the most attention when taking new measures to try to avoid the collapse of the health system as the disease progresses, is 55 , 5% in the whole country and scales to 65% in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.
So far, 94,129 people who had coronaviruses recovered and were discharged, representing 45.5% of all confirmed cases.
