San Giorgio bridge open to traffic

(ANSA) - GENOA, 04 AUG - The Genoa-San Giorgio viaduct, on the A10, inaugurated yesterday was reopened to vehicular traffic at the end of the checks carried out by the Direction of Trunk of Genoa in Aspi and after the commissioner intervened to redo a small stretch of asphalt. The opening took place at 10 pm, two hours later than what had been hypothesized. Now the west and east of the city are 'stitched up'. According to what has been learned, the reopening of the bridge is shifted due to two hollows caused in the asphalt by some structures set up yesterday for the inauguration ceremony.
   The first cars have already passed on the San Giorgio bridge. There is already a regular flow. The cars greeted the opening by playing horns while the motorcyclists made the sign of the victory with their fingers. Traffic is flowing in both directions. (HANDLE).
