(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, AUGUST 5 - The United States has recorded 1,302 new coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the Johns Hopkins University count.
The total number of victims in the country most affected by the pandemic in the world thus rises to almost 157 thousand. Yesterday, the US also recorded 53,847 new cases of contagion in a day, for an official total toll of almost 4.77 million cases.
