From a Boston American to a Texas based Californian. Rome changes hands from the man of the speculative funds James Pallotta to the investor Dan Friedkin, president and CEO of the homonymous private and diversified consortium of companies with interests in the automotive, hospitality, entertainment, golf and of adventure based in Houston, Texas. Among the Friedkin Group's activities, Gulf States Toyota stands out, one of the largest independent distributors of Toyota vehicles and spare parts in the world, serving more than 150 dealers. Dan, a San Diego Californian born in 1965, married with 4 children, a degree from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University, is the manager and co-founder of Imperative Entertainment which develops, produces and finances original branded entertainment with focus on film, television and documentaries: he entered Hollywood with the distribution company Neon, he was the producer of "The Square", the 2017 palm of gold in Cannes, and Ridley's "All the Money in the World" Scott. Since 2013 he has been president of Auberge Resorts Collection, a portfolio of luxury resorts, hotels and vacation facilities. He is also the owner of the Diamond Creek Golf Club in Banner Elk, NC, ranked by Golf Digest as one of the 100 best golf courses in America.
