They issue an alert for strong storms and possible hail fall for the City and the province of Buenos Aires

The Meteorological Service extended the alert until 20. It has already hailed in La Plata and in some towns in the western zone.

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) issued an alert on Thursday for "strong storms with gusts and occasional hail fall" for the Federal Capital area and the rest of the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA).

The new warning was broadcast at 16.44 and will be valid until 19:44 . The region includes that, mainly, the City is made up of the Buenos Aires municipalities of the southeast, including La Plata.

In this regard, the SMN explained that the coverage area affects Almirante Brown, Avellaneda, Berazategui, Berisso, Brandsen, Ensenada, Escobar, Esteban Echeverria, Ezeiza, Florencio Varela, General San Martín, Hurlingham and Ituzaingo.

Also to the region of José C. Paz, La Matanza, La Plata, Lanús, Lomas de Zamora, Magdalena, Malvinas Argentina, Merlo, Moreno, Morón, Pilar, Presidente Perón, Quilmes, San Fernando, San Isidro, San Miguel, San Vicente, Tigre, Tres de Febrero and Vicente López.

Meanwhile, as Clarín found , hail falls have already occurred in some areas of the western Buenos Aires suburbs and in La Plata. 

For tomorrow, Friday, the agency plans a day with showers in the morning, and isolated rains in the afternoon, winds from the east sector rotating to the southeast, with a minimum temperature of 10 degrees and a maximum of 13.

Meanwhile, Saturday is forecast morning fog, cloudy skies during the day, winds from the east sector and a temperature will remain between 10 degrees low and 17 maximum.
