(ANSA) - MILAN, AUG 07 - Covid-19 was "like a tsunami" for the economy, which also hit the stock exchange but the recovery has already started. In 6 months, considering only the industrial and service companies, the Ftse Mib burned 42 billion euros (-11.2% since the beginning of the year). The heaviest loss occurred in the first quarter (-86 billion, -22.9%) but the recovery, at least in the stock market, has already begun, as shown by the data for the second quarter (+44 billion, + 15.1%) collected by the 'Area StudiMediobanca which in a study analyzes the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the financial statements of over 150 industrial multinationals with annual turnover of over 3 billion and of the 25 industrial and service companies of the Ftse Mib index.
