Nora Etchenique, director of the Institute of Hemotherapy in the province of Buenos Aires, lost her life this Friday morning as a result of a traffic accident that occurred on the Buenos Aires-La Plata highway.

As confirmed by official sources to Clarín, the accident occurred when the car that was transporting the official, who lived in the town of Ituzaingó, was misled, allegedly, by the poor conditions of the road, amid the rains. The vehicle hit a sewer, causing the doctor's death almost instantly.

Nora Etchenique. Excellent civil servant and companion. Rest in peace, dear friend." , the Buenos Aires Minister of Health, Daniel Gollán, dismissed her on her Twitter account.
