The Minister of Health of Tierra del Fuego, Judit Di Giglio, confirmed this Friday that she tested positive for coronavirus, after a swab was performed after presenting some symptoms.
Di Giglio confirmed it through a statement he sent to Governor Gustavo Melella, in which he assures that he did not have a fever and his "general condition is good."
"I have just been informed that I am positive for Covid-19. I was swabbed as soon as I started with some symptoms in a preventive way and following our protocols," said the official.
And he added: "I did not have a fever, my general condition is good and I am complying with the isolation. I feel a lot of pride and tranquility of being controlled by our great Health team, who together with all the health workers, risk their lives and that of his family, for the good and care of all Fuegians. "

Melella shared the statement from her Twitter account and stressed that "it is part of the challenges faced by those who work for everyone's health, and at this time we accompany her and wish her to recover soon."
Tierra del Fuego is one of the provinces that is following with great concern some outbreaks of infections. In the last hours, the provincial government resolved to close electronic factories and reinstate the mandatory quarantine at least until Monday.
