(ANSA) - BEIRUT, 08 AUG - The Lebanese army in the evening evicted the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry in Beirut from a group of demonstrators who had occupied it, AFP correspondents reported.
Protesters, led by retired army officers, had taken over the building, proclaiming it "headquarters of the revolution" during today's anti-government demonstration in Beirut. The army then sent reinforcements to clear the building. (HANDLE).
