    Ural Kimchi climbs to the roof of the Carlton Hotel and opens Popina View

    It hasn't been long since Meir Adoni said goodbye to his kosher restaurants at the Carlton Hotel, and here the hotel has found a new chef to flirt with. Uriel Kimchi, is opening "Popina view" at the hotel, a temporary and kosher restaurant that will operate during the next month in the space where the Blue Sky restaurant operated. The pop-up will open tomorrow, Sunday, August 9, and will run until September 9. Kimchi, who has been operating his restaurant in Neve Tzedek for seven years, will serve a menu paved with flagship dishes from Poppina Restaurant alongside seasonal and new dishes, such as root vegetable tartare with aged balsamic, chestnuts, asparagus, cashew butter and carrot-mustard cream (NIS 74), tartar c Yin & Tonic consisting of sea fish cubes, cucumber, chives, shallots, tobiko wasabi, jelly gin tonic (NIS 78), red tuna in green apple and curry vinaigrette, pickled apple-celery-ginger-pepper salsa Spicy green and crispy quinoa (NIS 84), beef tartare with roasted mushrooms, asparagus and truffle glass (NIS 84), a steamed bun stuffed with fillet to shine in a delicate tempura, yuzu-wasabi aioli, crispy lettuce and pickled purple onion (NIS 84) and more. Along with the food menu, an up-to-date cocktail menu will be served, add to it a stunning view of the beach strip in Tel Aviv and the city's skyline and here is a perfect place to spend an experiential summer evening.

    A huge culinary project in Dan hotels around the country

    The Dan hotel chain has recruited some of the greatest chefs in Israel who will connect with chefs in the chain's hotels and cook special meals with them. As part of the project, hotels around the country will host chefs Moshik Roth, Yuval Ben Neria (Taizo), Sharon Cohen (Shiloh), Yaron Kastenbaum (M25), Avivit Priel-Avichai (Osaria), Tomer Agai (Santa Katrina), and Ariel Rosenthal (the magician). The events will take place at the King David Jerusalem hotels, Dan Caesarea Resort, Dan Acadia and Dan Carmel Haifa, which will offer accommodation packages that include special delicious meals that will open with an introductory meeting of hotel guests with the guest chef. The staff of the Imperial Bar will accompany all meals with a special cocktail menu.

    Also, each meal will have a menu of wines and drinks according to its character. For example, the King David Hotel in Jerusalem offers a package that includes a tasting meal with Chef Yuval Ben Neria from Taizo Restaurant on August 13-15, or a package that includes a tasting meal with Chef Sharon Cohen from Sheila Restaurant on August 18-20.     Avi Bitton and Omar Miller make special meals at the Citadel of David Jerusalem

    The Jerusalem Hotel David Citadel has reopened its doors to the public these days after a long hiatus and offers a new culinary concept that includes chef meals for the whole family, with hotel chef Eitan Doron, hosting chefs Avi Bitton and Omar Miller during the month of August. For the sake of interest, Avi Bitton created an Italian menu and Omar Miller created an American diner menu to which will be added a menu of light summer specials by Chef Eitan Doron.

    Bitton's Italian menu includes centerpiece dishes like focaccia with garlic confit and spicy tomato cream, sea fish crudo, smoked eggplant buffalo mozzarella, fresh tomato bruschetta and more, as well as white pizza with bonfire potatoes and truffles, cheese ravioli in poppy butter and pecorino , Green risotto and finally sweets like cannoli, tiramisu and more.

    Omar Miller's family American diner menu includes centerpiece dishes such as American Koren Dog with smoked pepper ketchup and sweet sauerkraut, Caesar salad with chicken nuggets, asado shredded in barbeque barbecue sauce alongside coleslaw, fried chicken on Belgian waffle with pure maple and relish , Grilled veal ribs alongside grilled vegetables and of course burgers and more, and spoiled desserts like a pancake tower or brownies and dishes specially tailored for kids.

    Avi Bitton's meals will take place on the 12th, 20th, 27th of August, NIS 280 per diner, 140 for a child

    Omar Miller's meals will take place on the 11th, 18th, 25th of August, NIS 220 per diner, 80 for a child

    Rooftop and Happy Fish restaurants at the Jerusalem Hotel Mamilla will host chefs Meir Adoni, Aviv Moshe and Ran Shmueli for a culinary week of chef workshops, wine workshops and meals with guest chefs. Mamilla Hotel Oshri and Acting Chef of Rooftop Restaurant Simon Shapiro, will host and produce alongside the guest chefs during the week.

    Rooftop Restaurant will host Chef Ran Shmueli for an upscale local meal on August 11, with entrees served in the center of the table such as a tabbouleh, grilled eggplant salad or beef carpaccio, a medium-sized lamb knapsack with tomatoes and eggplant or roasted horseradish and a choice of main course A dish of fish, chicken or lamb, and there is also a vegetarian dish of course.

    Happy Fish Restaurant will host Chef Aviv Moshe for a happy Mediterranean fish meal on August 13, with hot prawns and mazatas for the center of the table like carpaccio itias or matbucha, and an intermediate dish of fish shawarma and a main of choice of two types of grilled fish and a vegetarian dish of course.

    Rooftop Restaurant will host Chef Meir Adoni for a personal chef dinner on August 18 with dishes such as yellow tartar and watermelon tartare, eggplant carpaccio with tahini and dried roses, veal tartare on lima bean cream, roasted sea bar with vine and tamarind and dessert of course.

    Meals are also open to the general public not as part of hotel accommodation (NIS 420 per diner).
