      HBO "HBO" Euphoria Trailer

(In the video: Zendaya in the series "Euphoria")

When the list of nominees for the Emmy Awards was published, we saw nothing in the eye other than the national pride - Shira Haas' nomination for the Best Actress award in a mini-series. However, the world read the list a little more in depth and in Instyle magazine decided to pick up the leading candidate for the award for best actress in a drama series - Zendaya. And for those who do not remember, we will make it clear that here too there is a kind of national pride, when Zandaya is nominated for an award for her role in the series "Euphoria", which was born and created in Israel - and sold to HBO.

Zandaya (23) was chosen to be the face of the magazine's prestigious September issue - and the result is breathtaking. Apart from the two wonderful cover photos and the excellent fashion production that joins them, behind the project is also a kicking and important message, especially these days - Zandaya wears only black designers and the entire production team are African-American people. As a reminder, after the death of detainee George Floyd by a white police officer, awareness of the discrimination suffered by the community in the United States has risen. The fashion industry has also awakened and promised to give the necessary stage to black industrialists, and here in the magazine are already implementing.

The magazine's editors gave a free hand to Zendaya's close stylist, Lowe Roach, who started dressing her long before she gained momentum and became one of the most famous and talked about anchors there is. "Thank you for giving me a safe space (from Corona) to create in," Roach wrote on his Instagram account. "You let me, a black stylist, create an editorial with my black muse, Zendaya, using clothes from black designers, shoes from black designers, jewelry from black designers. You allowed me to choose the team, which included two black photographers (Ahmed Barber and Donta Mauris), a black hair stylist ( "Larry Sims) and a black makeup artist (Shaike Daley). Look what a magic you can create when you give it a chance. I'm so proud."

From this, one can understand that the production opens a window to new names that we did not necessarily know - and it's good that way. On the first cover photo, Zendaya wears a red satin dress with touches of eggplant purple in a one-shoulder cut by designer Jason Rembert, a hard-wearing brand called Aliétte with earrings from the New York brand Mateo.

In the second cover photo, Zendaya is seen in a colorful lottery in the three primary colors: red, yellow and blue, with an open back and fleece fabric from the Hanifa brand and high boots by Tori Sudan. And what other flaws are there in the production? A large, puffy dress with plaid in shades of pink, purple, red and blue by Christopher John Rogers, a scribbled and colorful suit by Romeo Hunt, a dress in red-purple-yellow with a cut in the middle of the belly of Victor Glamod, a yellow dress by the CUSHNIE brand and a dress and boots Match with a colorful print by Pierre Moss.

"There are so many black designers that people do not know about them, so giving them a chance to get involved in the production of the magazine and allow them to get the love they deserve - that's a really special thing," Zandaya said. "I hope people see the production and say to themselves - 'Oh, we love this dress,' and go go and support the black designers." Zendaya testified that while she does not see herself as an activist in the Black Lives Matter movement, she does hope that the current production will turn the spotlight on people who do a good job and do not get the stage they deserve.

The growing awareness of African-American industrialists led Vanity Fair fashion magazine to make history last month, when for the first time in its history the cover photo was taken by a black photographer. The photographer is Dario Clems and the photographer is actress Viola Davis. Vanity Fair's gate, just like Instyle's current gate, seeks to address the exclusion of African-Americans working in the mainstream American fashion industry. We seem to be expecting more and more productions with stylists, stylists, photographers, hair stylists, make-up artists and aficionados from the African-American community - and this is definitely necessary.
