Corona patients from the Jerusalem area, who are to be evacuated to Shaare Zedek and Hadassah Ein Kerem hospitals, are being transferred by Magen David Adom to hospitals in the South due to a load of patients. As of 11:00, Hadassah Ein Kerem had an occupancy rate of 194% in the corona departments and Shaare Zedek occupancy of 120%.

According to data from the hospital complex, 97 corona patients are hospitalized at Hadassah Ein Kerem, 46 of them in critical condition. At Shaare Zedek, 60 patients are hospitalized, with a maximum occupancy of up to 55 hospitalized. 36 of the patients are in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health today (Sunday) published a report according to which the pressure on hospitals has increased significantly since the beginning of July, reaching new highs in August. They also hospitalized 398 patients in critical condition.

This is a significant increase that has not been seen before, and in terms of the graph of the increase in patients, it seems that there has been an expansion in infection in Corona in recent months. It should be noted that out of all the patients currently hospitalized in the hospitals, 118 of them are respirators, with one of them chronically respirated and another 15 connected to the ACMO system which requires a larger amount of staff of caregivers.

Hadassah Ein Kerem, Shaare Zedek Sheba and Surasky hospitals have the largest number of patients in critical condition, with the report showing that most of the burden is on hospitals in the center and in the Jerusalem area, while Soroka hospitals in Be'er Sheva and Hillel Yaffe have medium loads due to their importance to their districts. .

Another striking figure that emerges from the graphs is that in terms of the epidemic there is a constant line of increase in terms of the critically ill and respiratory patients, with August being a high point in a continuous rise that has actually intensified since the outbreak of the second wave of the virus.

The report also shows that there are two high points indicating the corona's mortality damage form. The first was from early to mid-April, about a month and a half after the first wave erupted; and the second occurred from late July to early August, about a month and a half after the second wave. , It can be learned that there has been a significant increase in the number of deaths caused by the large amount of infection in Israel of the virus.
