Dutchman Max Verstappen, at the wheel of a Red Bull, won the F1 Grand Prix held today in Silverstone, England. In second and third place the two Mercedes, those of the world champion Lewis Hamilton, second, and the Finnish Valtteri Bottas, third. Fourth was the Monegasque Charles Leclerc in a Ferrari. D odicesima the other 'red', that of Seb Vettel. The official name of the second consecutive grand prix on the historic British track, the one today, was "Gp of the 70th anniversary" because here, in 1950, the history of modern Formula 1 began.
"I didn't expect to win, absolutely, but today I had no problems and I was able to push as I wanted. It's an incredible result." Speaking 'hot' immediately after winning at Silverstone, Max Verstappen expresses all his joy for this unexpected success.
"We had a great day - says the Dutchman -, everything went in the right way and we also guessed the strategy. I don't want to manage anything, I know my opponents are fast but I want to attack and put pressure. I had had the opportunity, today I had the opportunity to do so ".
