Headmasters, 20,000 classrooms are needed in alternative spaces to schools

There are about 20 thousand classrooms that will have to be set up in alternative spaces to institutions in view of the start of the next school year. More than 50% of the spaces have not yet been found. The criticalities are patchy, but they are mostly recorded in big cities like Rome. This is what the National Presidi Association reports according to the latest estimate made. In consideration of the data, the number of those who will have to take lessons in alternative places to their school would be updated to 400 thousand students, about 5% of the total. 

"Compatibly with the available resources, we soon plan the publication of Public Notices in various Municipalities, to find alternative spaces where classrooms can be set up to host the classes that will have to take lessons in alternative places to their school". This was reported by Cristina Giachi, head of the School of the National Association of Italian Municipalities (Anci), who spoke about the appropriate resources for local authorities on the rental of additional spaces, provided for in the August decree.
