Renowned British reality producer Simon Cowell broke his back in a bicycle accident yesterday (Saturday) so a representative on his behalf confirmed.

The serious injury occurred near the estate of Cowell (60) in Malibu, when it was pedaling his electric bike, fell off it and was badly hit in the back.

"He fell off his new electric bike when he took them for a ride near his estate in Malibu," a representative of his media confirmed to the media. "He was injured in the back and taken to the hospital. He is in good condition, he is under supervision and in the best care."

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
