• TIP 1: Use air conditioning in the car correctly When
  using the air conditioning , you should make sure that the outside temperature does not differ more than 6 degrees from the temperature in the car . This is also recommended by the ADAC. The air from the air conditioning system must not be directed towards the body, as this can cause conjunctivitis, among other things. To avoid catching a cold, do not set the temperature too low.

  You should also protect yourself from solar radiation in the car in summer . Since the windshield only provides limited protection from the sun and the side windows allow dangerous UV rays through, you should also use sunscreen in the car .
• TIP 3: Use protective films for car
  windows . Special sun protection films on the windows of the car help against the dangerous UV radiation . According to ADAC, the special protective films also prevent the car from overheating because they do not let infrared radiation through. In addition, special sunglasses and headgear are recommended against UV rays. You should pay particular attention to the latter with children. According to this, researchers have found that with an outside temperature of 35 degrees, temperatures are so high after only 15 minutes that it can be life-threatening for the occupants.
