Only four countries allow Israelis to enter their territory • Despite the announcements, it does not appear that the list of green countries will increase by the time the sky opens.

Question marks in the Corona Committee: The sky is supposed to open this coming Sunday, but there is no one to receive the Israeli tourists. As reported yesterday (Sunday) in "Israel Today", in the Corona committee's hearing held today, Ilan Plus from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the list of green countries is expected to be longer than first thought and it is also expected to include countries outside Europe.

Currently, only four countries accept Israelis - and even these are asking to come with negative corona tests. The same countries are Bulgaria, Rwanda, Croatia and Montenegro. All other green countries, whose names were to be published today, will receive Israelis with foreign passports in accordance with the conditions of each of them.

The Ministry of Health refuses to present the list of green and red states, and it will probably be published during the week.

The committee's chairman, MK Yifat Shasha-Bitton, expressed disappointment with the conduct of the parties involved in the matter: "Last week you said that it was possible to do this and present an outline for the opening of the sky until August 16. Why do you not present the outline?"

Now it seems that despite the announcements - this coming Sunday almost no green country will agree to accept Israeli tourists.

As reported yesterday in "Israel Today", among the green countries that are expected to enter the list: Japan, South Korea, Germany and Denmark. Probably, the United States, one of the most popular destinations among Israeli tourists, will remain among the red states.

Many countries do not allow tourists into their area. Most Asian countries are closed so the list will be really relevant only after they are opened. Countries like Japan, Korea and Thailand are currently formulating a plan to revive their tourism industry. Israel will probably not be on the list of countries whose citizens will be allowed to enter and vacation in the same destinations.
