"Like Me - I'm Famous" on TVnow

Sometimes the best TV formats are those that don't even exist yet. The new Promi-Wegsperr program "Like me - I'm famous" is a solid source of inspiration for crazy program ideas.

A solid Trash TV format is like an elastic vortex worm: if you chop it into small pieces, every snippet of worm can lead a happy life on its own.

And "Like me - I'm famous", the new celebrity lockout format, is not yet an episode, one would like to get the sharp edge spade out, stab it courageously and thus create at least two new, promising formats: When "The Man" Aurelio Savina, until now actually known for nostalgic-archaic male moves in programs like "Bachelorette" and the jungle camp, introduces his new roommates with the words that he recently "found himself a feminist" and has therefore written a life guide especially for female readers because he "not only loves women, but lives", is what really roars after his own all-female talk show spin-off moderated by him (working title: "Trau, Frau, whom").

And when Helena Fürst finally picks up the microphone after a throaty, actually sensitive, existential marrow-scraping performance of "Die immer laughs" to perform a rap she wrote herself ("I am me and not you / eat my shoe / bread, idiot, is that an offer? / Sometimes TV is just shit "), you want nothing more than your own hip-hop-centered casting format (" Helena's School of Rap "). Well, that can all still come.

Knappik and Müller as a proven combat unit

For the time being, however, "Like me - I'm famous" is about, together with trash instances like Sarah Knappik and Melanie Müller (who has not lost any of her hard-working, bristle generality since her jungle camp victory in 2014), actors known only to the niche audience for as long as possible - Actors like Yasin (from "Love Island") and Dijana (ibid.) And erratic new discoveries like Don Francis (a braided party organizer in Lloret de Mar with undeniable Christian-Anders vibes, typical sentence: "I'll tell you honestly, I stand shortly before bankruptcy. ") in a house.

You can only do that if you win points in games (in which you have to throw slime bombs at others, for example), which are called "likes" here. Each candidate is also allowed to distribute three likes per episode to the others himself, and here the rather bland format with its very predictable calculated confusion actually becomes interesting: How slimy alliances are formed in the run-up to the distribution ceremonies that reveal themselves minutes later that certainly has the potential to become more complex, woven intrigue macrame.

The only tragic thing is that at the end of the first episode, Helena Fürst collected the fewest likes and is therefore acutely threatened with expulsion. At the start she was not only appealing because of her musical interludes, but also as a nonchalant do-it-yourselfer at the cigarette filling machine: "I stuff myself, what should I do," said the passionate menthol smoker, because her preferred cigarette flavor has not been allowed to be sold since May , and delivered a nonchalant disillusionment miniature crumbling tobacco like from a Gerhart-Hauptmann drama - a fat honorary like for it in any case.
