(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 12 - Buyers chosen for the most famous shirts in the world: Brooks Brothers has announced that Authentic Brands Group ("ABG") and SPARC Group LLC ("SPARC") have been selected as successful bidders in the competitive sale procedure after increasing its offering to $ 325 million to acquire the vast majority of the company's global business, under the principle of business continuity, and its intellectual property portfolio. As part of the agreement, SPARC has committed to continue to operate at least 125 Brooks Brothers stores.
The closing of the transaction is expected by the end of August.
