Government-Regions meeting - The new health provisions for those returning from abroad and information on the risks of gatherings in discos in view of August 15th: these are the two items on the agenda of the extraordinary meeting between the government and the Regions convened by the Minister of Regional Affairs Francesco Boccia.

The meeting - which will also serve to find a shared solution and prevent local administrations, as is already happening in these hours, proceed in no particular order with the ordinance - the ministers of Health Roberto Speranza and of Economic Development Stefano Patuanelli also participate. For the governors there are Donato Toma of Molise, Luca Zaia of Veneto, Massimiliano Fedriga of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Alberto Cirio of Piedmont, Marco Marsilio of Abruzzo and several regional councilors.

In particular, discos are moving towards a tightening to counter the phenomenon of gatherings due to nightlife in this summer period, in particular with regard to outdoor venues where anti-Covid measures such as distancing are not respected. During the extraordinary meeting with the Regions, Minister Speranza read an information note pointing out the problem of crowded discos and establishments during this type of event and would have spoken of the need to take further measures. The meeting will be updated for tomorrow or in the next few days, but it is not yet clear whether before or after the day of August 15th.

Government works on tests for returns from Greece and Spain  - The government proposes to the Regions to carry out tests for those returning from Spain, Croatia, Malta, Greece . The obligation, according to the proposal of Minister Speranza, would apply to those who return from countries considered at higher risk due to the growth of infections from Covid.

Ten positive Lombard on return from Croatia  - Three boys from Lodi and 7 from Brescia tested positive for Covid after a holiday on the island of Pag, in Croatia. The people from Brescia returned to Italy on Monday, while the people from Lodi, asymptomatic to date, were in a company of 150 young people, mainly students, some of whom were ill on their return to Italy, after having been in Croatia from 25 July to 1 August last. The Milan Ats is currently working to try to have a clear map of the contagion. Meanwhile, in Lodi, several people who were about to leave for August for Croatia are trying to cancel their holiday

Toti, 26 positive in Liguria, 2 were in Corfu  - "Today 26 new positive cases of coronavirus have been detected in Liguria, more than half derive from the ASL 2 of Savona in which a cluster was identified, a barbecue in which many participated employees of health facilities, many of whom are Ecuadorian nationals and where a positive has infected many people ". This was reported by the president of the Liguria Region Giovanni Toti. "There are two infections in the province of Spezia, they are people who have returned from a holiday in Corfu". The positives of Bordighera (7, of which 5 returned from Croatia), of which we received news today, had been recorded in recent days. "It is obvious that in the next few weeks we will have to start putting in place health checks on people returning from countries where the coronavirus infection rate is much higher than the Italian one, we are talking about it with Health Minister Roberto Speranza", Toti says. "We think of an obligation to test to be done at local health authorities for those returning from holidays and business trips, or for foreigners arriving in Italy, the Ministry of Health is working on this to give homogeneous standards"
