The Ministers of Transportation, Health, Foreign Affairs and Tourism are expected to publish tomorrow (Thursday) at 16:00 the list of countries to which Israelis will be able to fly and return without the need for isolation. Among the countries with which contacts are made: Cyprus, Italy, Canada and other countries. It appears that the arrangement to be determined will be unilateral, and tourists will still not be able to enter Israel.
Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dandias will arrive in Israel tomorrow, during his visit he is scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi. One of the issues to be discussed is the option that Israelis can vacation in the Greek islands without the need for isolation. At the same time, Israeli tourists are expected to visit only pre-arranged areas and direct flights only.
• Airlines have received an extension to return the funds
• HMOs will perform corona tests for flights abroad
• Is the sky opening? Not so fast
Last week, the Corona Cabinet approved advancing the skyscraper outline starting Aug. 16. It was agreed that Israelis who come from "green" countries will not have to go into isolation upon their return to Israel. The outline is expected to include a long list of countries and not just individuals, as initially reported. The list will also include countries outside the EU, which are currently completely closed to tourists, but those returning from them will be able to enter Israel without the need for isolation.
Meanwhile, starting Sunday, the HMOs will perform free corona tests for flights abroad - for those who present a flight ticket or a document confirming a flight - and those who receive a negative answer will be able to enter the country to which they are scheduled to fly. Departure date, when the answers will be received in the time period before the departure of the flight.
