To reconnect with its customers, the Place de la Concorde palace, still closed due to Covid, has installed an ice cream truck in front of its facade.

The Hôtel de Crillon opened its ice-cream truck in July to delight passers-by. “We have selected 8 classic fragrances and offer a creation each week. Everything is homemade, including the wafers and cones, ”explains Matthieu Carlin, who seeks authentic flavors and reduces his sugar preparations.

Vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut praline, salted butter caramel, apricot, lemon, raspberry ... Something to delight the taste buds of the most greedy. All accompanied by delicacies made from almonds, hazelnuts and pistachios or whipped cream. The pot still costs 5 euros and the 3 balls served in a wafer, 8 euros.

The Hôtel de Crillon, which employs 360 people (currently on short-time working) will not reopen until August 24.

Ice cream truck in front of the Hôtel de Crillon, 10 place de la Concorde. Open every afternoon from Wednesday to Sunday, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., until September 30.
