However, there is a problem for Microsoft. The announcement of the market launch of the next-gen Xbox in November followed shortly after one of the most promising exclusive titles was postponed.

The developers at 343 Industries have previously stated that "Halo Infinite" will not appear until 2021. This is one of the few Xbox exclusives and the postponement is likely to be a huge disappointment for many fans. Most recently, a gameplay video of the game made headlines, as it made a rather sobering impression on viewers, especially graphically.
But Xbox boss Phil Spencer doesn't attach great importance to exclusive titles anyway. Instead, the games should be made available to as many players as possible. For this reason, Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Series X backward compatibility are arguably a higher priority for Spencer.
Whether the lack of exclusive titles will affect Xbox Series X sales will be revealed in November. If the console should actually be cheaper than the PS5, that could be enough as a reason to buy for many gamers. In the hardware race, the Xbox Series X has the edge.
