(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 15 - Thousands of people attended the funeral of demonstrator Alexander Taraikovsky in Minsk, killed in clashes with the police, a funeral that turned into a peaceful protest.
The protesters - writes the BBC - laid flowers at the subway station where Taraikosky died last Monday, lit candles, waved Belarusian flags, sang and sang and sang to ask for the strongman Alexander Lukashenko to leave.
