He thought it was a joke, then the Foggia-born Francesco Ferrazzano recognized the voice of the premier, his countryman. "I can't believe yet", Francesco tells ANSA who, together with his wife Grazia, is hosting a married couple on the moon in the Gargano, Zdeneck and Camilla, from whom unknown money and documents have been stolen on 6 August. The two foreigners, originally from the Czech Republic, were taking some photos at sunset in Torre Mileto, a seaside resort in SanNicandro Garganico (Foggia), when they realized that a bag containing 1900 euros and personal effects had been stolen from their car. The documents were found and returned to the newlywed couple. Zdeneck and Camillarare will leave on Thursday, August 20th.
"With President Conte we were on the phone for over 30 minutes, he immediately put me at ease. He thanked me for having given, with my gesture, prestige to our land", says Francesco Ferrazzano, revealing that Prime Minister Conte has donated, out of pocket own, even 500 euros to help the young couple get back home.
