Sources at Etihad Airlines tell Israel Today that they welcome the forthcoming peace agreement and are considering opening an airline from the United Arab Emirates to Tel Aviv. It is important to note that these are currently preliminary explorations, and there is still no real progress. The airline stressed that they are waiting for the agreement with Israel to become official.

At the same time, senior officials of the United Arab Emirates airline were quoted in the foreign media as saying similar things and eagerly awaiting the initial signing of the peace agreement between the countries.

"From the agreement between the two governments there will be many industries that will benefit. It is clear that the aviation industry is one of them. But before we plan flights from the emirates to Israel, we need to sign the agreement," Adel al-Radha, emirates chief operating officer, told CNBC.

Etihad is the second largest airline in the Emirates with a fleet of about 90 aircraft. The largest airline in the Emirates is Emirates with about 250 aircraft. The two companies together fly to hundreds of destinations around the world and are known for their level of service and prestige.
