Corona disease in Israel continues to rise: According to data from the Ministry of Health published tonight (Wednesday), 1,645 were diagnosed in the last day. At present, there are 23,870 active patients in Corona in Israel. The death toll from the disease in Israel stands at 795, of whom 11 died at midnight.

Closed on holidays?

Meanwhile, the Corona Cabinet convened to discuss restrictions, with the option to close on holidays lying on the table. The prime minister said during the meeting: "We are making a big effort to avoid closure - but it depends on the disease."

The Corona commissioner, Prof. Gamzo, presented to the Corona Cabinet today his plan, which focuses on the red cities, to reduce morbidity. Gamzo introduced the "tightened restraint" program designed to bring about a significant reduction in morbidity, while avoiding the imposition of a full closure during the holidays.
