Netflix is testing a solution to end the endless debates that accompany choosing a movie or series. A “ shuffle play ” button accessible to certain users allows the streaming service to choose the program for them. It is based on their viewing habits.

The streaming service already has other ways to promote its content within its app, such as automatic trailer playback. But it recently gave the possibility of deactivating it, in the face of the hostility of users who found it intrusive.
