The five is a number that accompanies the life of Silvio Berlusconi. At the head of a fortune estimated today at 5.5 billion euros, the owner of the Canale 5 channels in Italy and Telecinco in Spain (and of the late La Cinq, launched in France in 1986 and stopped in 1992) is also the father of five children, who are now between 31 and 54 years old.
The eldest, Marina Berlusconi, born in 1966 from Silvio Berlusconi's first marriage to Carla Dall'Oglio, appears to be the favorite. At least on paper. At the age of 25, she joined the holy of holies, Fininvest, the financial holding company of the family that controls Mediaset in the media, Mondadori Editions and holds stakes in financial services in particular, she made her classes in the footsteps of her father. First vice-president of Fininvest, Marina assumed her presidency on October 5, 2005, two years after taking the reins of Mondadori.
