A neighbor of La Puebla del Río (Seville) has become the first fatality of the Nile virus this Thursday in the province of Seville, as Telecinco has advanced and Efe from family sources has confirmed. The deceased was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Virgen del Rocío hospital in Seville, according to the same sources.

The largest outbreak of the Nile virus that has been registered in Andalusia already affects 35 people from Coria del Río and La Puebla del Río (Seville), of which 32 are now hospitalized, six of them in the ICU, according to the latest data provided by the Ministry of Health.
