    In a speech delivered for a National Agriculture Revival Day, Maduro explained: "Donald Trump declared a total war (to Pdvsa, ed.) Out of envy, pettiness, imperialism, and because he wants to put his hands on the wealth of our country, but the oil that belongs to Venezuelans will never belong to imperialism, in any case ".
    Confirming on the basis of new recent US sanctions continues "the total persecution of the United States against all the oil industry of PDVSA", the head of state assured that "the oil policy (of former president Hugo) Chávez will be our shield to face and defeat it. embargo, and economic and financial persecution ".
    Maduro then indicated that "today they are spreading another information of new sanctions, of new persecutory measures, for which we cannot reveal how we continue to advance, and in which direction our armies are going. What we must do - he reiterated - is to free completely our PDVSA ".
