This past weekend, Israir began its flights to Varna, which is known for its Israeli vacations thanks to the golden sands, the luxurious hotels and, of course, the shopping and the casino. The flights were full to capacity, and during the flight it was felt that everything was going smoothly. All passengers had a corona check before the flight, all wore masks during the short flight that lasted about two and a half hours, and the plane sinned before takeoff.

In Varna the queues were a bit long at the airport, the process that included checking the negative corona results and checking the passports took a little less than an hour, but at the end it was possible to vacation abroad.

Boriana Cristova, a Bulgarian who works at the International Hotel and speaks Hebrew, told Israel Today about the excitement of the return of the Israelis to Varna: "We are so happy that the Israelis are back. We missed you so much."

One of the two Israir pilots said moments before takeoff about the excitement of returning and flying tourists: "The plane is full, we are very excited to return and fly Israeli passengers and happy that the sky has opened, waiting for more destinations to open after the challenging Corona period."

Alik from Petah Tikva, who flew with his two daughters to Varna, said: "We booked the flight a few months ago, and did not know if we would fly. Now the sky has opened and we decided to do it. There is concern but it is reasonable, if he was more than that we would not fly, and we are happy We chose to do that. "

The feelings in Varna, which was a very popular destination for Israeli tourists before the Corona period, are that one can enjoy, and at the same time maintain the guidelines. The staff in the hotels are very meticulous. On the beaches and streets the strictness is looser, and so are the writers and shops that are not large chains. The casino is open, the restaurants are open, but mostly sitting outside, and here, too, alcohol is scattered around every corner.
