Reforms: the social partners believe they have a major role to play

A common text outlining their proposals to contribute to an effective and fair exit from the crisis was sent to the President of the Republic.


The letter is dated June 22, 2020. Addressed to the President of the Republic, it is signed by the trade union centers of the reformist bloc (CFDT, CFTC, Unsa, CFE-CGC) and by employers' organizations (Medef, CPME, U2P and FNSEA ). " We believe that the social partners, legitimate representatives of employers and employees, have a major role to play in imagining solutions, " they write in attack of this five-page letter. A message which, a few days from a reshuffle that led Jean Castex to Matignon, is reminiscent of the sling led by Medef twenty years ago after the 35-hour law.
