They believed in it, the disillusion was all the stronger. Nearly 11.4 million French people were in front of TF1 to encourage the players of Paris-Saint-Germain. For the first final in its history, the club lost to Bayern Munich. This historic match for PSG attracted 46.2% of audience share. It is, unsurprisingly, the biggest audience of the year and it is also a record for a Champions League final.
In second position, well behind obviously, the Sunday evening film of France 2 remains as popular as ever. This week, it was “Ange et Gabrielle”, with Patrick Bruel and Isabelle Carré. The film, released in 2015, attracted more than 2.33 million viewers, or 9.3% of them.
Competition far behind
France 3 is neck and neck with only 20,000 fewer viewers. The channel is offering a new series straight from Great Britain, "The Investigations of Commissioner Van Der Valk". For its first episode, nearly 2.31 million French people were present, or 9.2% of the public. It promises for the future.
Finally, M 6 still keeps its fourth place with “Capital”. The news magazine has been viewed a lot less than last week, with just 1.57 million viewers, compared to over 2.1 million last Sunday. In fact, this corresponds to 6.4% audience share.
