Video: a couple was arrested for riding a bicycle and held incommunicado for five hours

It was a sunny Sunday, so Leonardo and Marcela decided to go cycling in the Piedras Blancas neighborhood of Fernández Oro, in Río Negro. What they did not know was that on the way they were going to meet the Police and that they were going to end up arrested.

According to a video that went viral on social networks, the couple was violently delayed after an exchange of words with the troops.  

"I want to get to my house, which is a kilometer and a half away," says the man in the video as he is handcuffed by a police officer and another cash. Whoever films asks: " But are they taking it? "

The policewoman, confused because they are recording her , automatically tells the woman filming: "You are going to follow . " Thus, both are taken without understanding much what happens.

The video went viral in the last hours and, according to the local media Río Negro , the protagonists are Leonardo Rodríguez and Marcela Benedetti , who live in the Piedras Blancas neighborhood of Fernández Oro.

As rescued from the Rio Negro newspaper, the couple's plan for Sunday was to go by bicycle to Jordan Island, eat and return. When they were arriving at their house, the police stopped them and detained them: they were held incommunicado for five hours .

"Five in the afternoon, returning to my house, we had gone out to ride a bicycle with Marcela, the patrol car crossed us in a very bad way, with arrogance and arrogance," said the man in an audio that he spread among his acquaintances and that announced the provincial media.

The police justified that they had ignored the order to stop and that was why they stopped their march with some violence. Rodríguez assured that this order never existed.

"The argument was that on Sunday you could not circulate, when the previous Sunday yes. It turns out that the mayor, apparently, said that it was not circulated. We were not even aware of it ," said the man.

According to him, he suggested that they be escorted to their home since they were just over 10 blocks away, but they became "violent." They were held for five hours in separate cells at Police Station 26 in Fernández Oro.
