(ANSA) - MOSCOW, AUG 27 - The first Russian vaccine against coronavirus, Sputnik V, developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, is starting to arrive in hospitals. This was stated by the Russian health minister Mikhail Murashko.
"Today a noteworthy weapon has appeared in our country: this vaccine is now starting to enter circulation, including on the Moscow Mayor's website, where registration for participation in Phase 3 clinical trials is open," he said.
"The study will be even larger: nearly 40,000 people will participate," Murashko said.
Deliveries to medical facilities are part of the vaccine's Phase 3 clinical trials, he said. (HANDLE).
