Less than 600 days before the 2022 presidential election, Franceinfo is strengthening its coverage of politics. According to our information, the continuous news channel of France Televisions will launch on Monday, September 7, at 7 p.m., a new daily political talk-show. Called “Your Political Moment”, this meeting intends to put a political guest on the grill every day for an hour.
The latter will have to answer both the questions of the journalists of the channel but also those of the Net surfers, as in the emblematic “The Hour of Truth” of François-Henri de Virieu, illustrious program of the Mitterrand years.
It is David Delos, former face of BFM Business, who will pilot this daily news, which will be edited by journalist Gilles Bornstein (who was already hiding behind “Words and actions” by David Pujadas). In addition, Franceinfo has hired two new political editorial writers: Alix Bouilhaguet, former editor-in-chief of “L'Emission politique” and Cyril Graziani, ex-France Inter, in addition to Gilles Bornstein and Daïc Audoui.
Now directed by Laurent Guimier, the news channel also has a new topical talk-show presented by Axel de Tarlé. In "The Info shines", he will decipher live every morning from 9:30 to 10:30 the news of the day, surrounded by several specialists in the subject. With these two new meetings, Franceinfo hopes to catch up with its competitors BFMTV and CNEWS and LCI, which are all ahead of it in audience.
