L'AQUILA - Born from an innovative collaboration project with the Majella National Park, which provided a range of mountain essences then replanted in a botanical garden just outside the Abruzzo capital, here is the first artisan gin produced entirely in Aquila, the "67CENTO", with one of the 99 Cannelle masks on the label.
For the moment there are two lines of gin, produced in the distillery equipped in Ocre: the Botanical Gin, very oriented towards a herbaceous taste, based on mountain savory, hyssop, pine needles and many other botanicals, and the Foragad Gin, which it is inspired by all those herbs that grow spontaneously on the hills and mountains that surround the city (there are nettle, rosehip, lemon balm and wild fennel).
It all starts with the desire of Riccardo Marino, management engineer and Tommaso Ciuffetelli Totani, expert in communication and marketing, to tell about Abruzzo through "a native and unique product. What struck us a lot about gin in particular is that it is a drink that leaves a lot of room for imagination and customization of the recipe.
In fact, apart from juniper berries, there are no restrictions on the ingredients that can be used. For this reason we said to ourselves, why not create an original recipe that can make known our beautiful land in Italy and in the world? ".
Next Saturday, August 29th, from the late evening aperitif the widespread launch event of "67CENTO" in the premises of the historic center of L'Aquila, which will also feature a series of branded gadgets including compostable paper cups and flyers.
