Bad weather, storm over Milan: RSA roof uncovered due to strong wind
From 9pm yesterday, and then again around midnight, wind, rain and lightning stormed the metropolis causing the clogging of the manholes and the 'wolf mouths' of the sidewalks, and creating gigantic pools. There have been some infiltrations on the subway, with Lilac reporting the blocking of several escalators in different stations.
According to the provincial command of the fire brigade, the most substantial damage would have occurred in the area north of Milan, between Sesto San Giovanni and Monza , but also in Lecco, Como and in the mountain areas.
This morning in Lombardy the weather alert is still active (yellow or orange depending on the sector) but from the operations center of the Local Police there are no critical issues to the Seveso and Lambro rivers.
