(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 29 - Mexico yesterday recorded 5,824 new cases of coronavirus, a figure that brings the overall toll of infections in the country to 585,738: the Ministry of Health reported this, according to CNN.
At the same time, an additional 552 deaths have been reported, totaling 63,146 since the start of the pandemic. Mexico is the eighth country in the world for the number of infections.
