The
Ministry of Health of the Nation
reported this Tuesday that in the last 24 hours, 259 deaths from coronavirus were reported and 10,504 new infections were identified.
With these records, there are 428,239 positives in the country and a total of 8,919 deaths.
Since the last report issued,
189 new deaths have been reported
.
95 men: 69 in the province of Buenos Aires;
19 in CABA;
1 in Córdoba, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Santa Fe and Santiago Del Estado and 2 in La Rioja.
And 94 women:
63 in PBA;
19 residents in CABA;
1 in La pampa, Neuquén, Río Negro and Santiago del Estero;
6 residents in the province of La Rioja;
2 in Santa Fe.
The new part indicated that the
Province of Buenos Aires,
with 6,157 infections, was the area most affected, which implied 58.6% of the total of the day.

The deaths reported in the last hours were
32 men:
21 residents in the province of Buenos Aires, 7 in the City, 2 in Mendoza, 1 in Santa Fe and 1 in the province of Córdoba.
And 36 women
: 24 residents in the province of Buenos Aires, 6 in the City, 1 in Mendoza, 1 in Entre Ríos, 2 residents in the province of Río Negro, 1 in the province of Neuquén, and 1 resident in the province of Santa Fe. In addition, one death was reported in Entre Ríos and another in the City of Buenos Aires without sex data.
Of the total positive cases, 1,200 (0.3%) are imported, 97,726 (22.8%) are close contacts of confirmed cases,
263,555 (61.5%) are cases of community circulation
and the rest are under epidemiological investigation .
The Secretary of Access to Health, Carla Vizzotti, warned this morning that they work under a lot of tension in
the health systems of Jujuy,
Mendoza, the department of General Roca, in Río Negro, and "at times and in some places in Salta and La Rioja ".
"In the AMBA we have a high occupancy,
with certain stability but with a high occupancy percentage that, by sustaining itself for so long over time, generates tension due to the work that all health personnel are doing," he said.

and were discharged, and represent 73.8% of confirmed positive cases.
Days ago, President Alberto Fernández announced that the quarantine against the coronavirus will continue
until September 20
, although he indicated that the meetings in open spaces would be authorized.
Fernández had presented the continuity of the isolation scheme through a video that he recorded after the meeting he had with Horacio Rodríguez Larreta and Axel Kicillof to define the final details.
