From September 18 arrives the Galaxy Z Fold2 from Samsung.
Nothing new, at least with respect to shapes and sizes.
Ilmondo had already discovered the design of the Galaxy Z Fold2 during the second part of the Unpacked 2020 event in August, which was used by Samsung to present the new range of Smartphones Note 20 and 20 Pro. On that occasion, the Korean group also unveiled its third fold , second generation of Fold (the ZFlip differs in the clamshell opening).
Only today, however, the company has disclosed the technical specifications, colors, availability and prices of the product.
There is talk of 2,049 euros for a single device, which rests on a latest generation Qualcomm processor, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
It will come in MysticBlack and Mystic Bronze, with four variations available for the external "hinge": Metallic Silver, Metallic Gold, Metallic Rede Metallic Blue.
Whoever decides to buy it will have one year of SamsungCare +, which covers accidental damage, also and above all to the screen, for a free replacement.
Pre-orders start today, with deliveries starting September 18th.
What changes more than the first generation Fold is the external display, now 6.2 inches, and the internal one, which reaches a total of 7.6 inches, with a wider touch surface, thanks to the camera inscribed in a hole and not more in a bigger and more visible heel.
The cameras are not at the level of Samsung's top range smartphones but they represent a step forward in terms of quality: triple rear sensor from 12 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP, 2x optical zoom, digital up to 10x, recording in HDR10 +.
Iselfie rest on an external 10MP camera and on an internal (between the two screens) always 10MP.
The battery is 4,500 mAh and supports fast charging, even in wireless mode.
Galaxy Z Fold2 5G has been redesigned in the panel, which is an Ultra Thin Glass, more resistant but still thin.
