The Ministry of Health confirmed this Tuesday 70 new deaths from coronavirus in relation to the last report, so there are
8,730 fatalities in Argentina
due to the pandemic.
The
fatality
rate of
the virus is 2.1%
, while the specific mortality is 191 people per million inhabitants, with an average age of 72.3 years.
The percentage of occupancy of critical beds, which is a key value to know the level of tension with which the health system works, is 60.6% throughout the country and rises to 68.8 in the metropolitan region from Buenos Aires.
