ROME - The first traveling window that will frame the vineyards, hills and woods of Tuscany starts from San Gusmè, a small village in the Sienese area.

A way to draw the attention of visitors to the Chianti landscape and beyond, in a year so difficult for tourism, especially foreign tourism.

In reality it is not just any window but it is the one that has stood out for almost three years in the private garden of the entrepreneur Lorenzo Vanni, owner of a small tourist rental business in San Gusmè which has been the backdrop for thousands of photos, selfies and not, becoming a tourist destination.

"It could be an idea to take my window around Tuscany, given the success it has had here, an easy way to attract those who love beauty to our lands, from the landscape to food and wine", Vanni tells ANSA. in a summer experienced in trouble from a tourist point of view, with the structure only open in August with Italian customers.

Born in San Gusmè in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, Vanni, after living in Florence, decided a few years ago to return to live in Chianti.

And here, with great flair, he did a very simple thing: in front of the breathtaking landscape of the hills and vineyards he placed a window that was in the peasant house before the restoration.

"It was a simple intuition to collect the four ingredients of the Tuscan landscape, namely wood, vineyard, olive groves and cypresses - says Vanni - after all, to highlight the great beauty of Chianti, even an old window is enough. You can see that I was a salesman and now I find myself being the throw-in to present the landscape, tradition and beauty of my land ".

The garden of Vanni is also the place for meetings and dinners, the last one just last Saturday where 11 wineries of the territory participated to once again enhance the treasures of the territory.
