More than 8 million copies of the number titled “Tout est pardonné”, published after the massacre, have been sold.
The number of subscribers suddenly dropped from 15,000 to 260,000.
Five years later, the profits drawn from this wave of solidarity are still supporting
Charlie Hebdo
while the weekly's sales have fallen.
Charlie
sells around 55,000 copies each week, including 30,000 by subscription.
This number has been stable overall for two years.
It is above all higher than what the weekly sales were before the attack.
In 2014, the satirical newspaper sold 30,000 copies per week.

Charlie Hebdo's

has also been declining for five years.
