According to data from the Ministry of Health published tonight (Wednesday) about the spread of the corona virus in Israel, and by midnight until 7:00 PM alone, 1,951 new infections have been identified.
This is a dramatic figure because until now it has usually been the number of people infected for 24 hours.
Accordingly, it is possible that by midnight the infected threshold will far exceed the 2,000.

The number of tests performed was not higher than usual and stood at 21,842 tests.
The positive percentage of all tests yesterday was 8.1 percent and today it is already 9.3 and this is a worrying figure.
In terms of hospitals, 845 people are currently hospitalized, of whom 422 are in critical condition and 127 of them are respirators.
The number of patients in fair condition is 159. The number of deaths continues to rise, with 8 people dying today.
The number of victims since the beginning of the plague is approaching 1000 and stands at 969 people.
The cities with the largest number of patients are: Jerusalem with 2899 verified patients, Bnei Brak with 1112, Ashdod with 916, Tel Aviv-Yafo with 681, Modi'in Illit with 609 and the city of Tira with 489.
The cities defined as "red" by the Ministry of Health are Dalit al-Carmel, Tira, Ein Mahel, Emanuel, Kfar Qassem, Asfiya, Lakia, Beit Jen, Ma'ale Iron, Ibelin, Kfar Bara, Jaljulia, Kfar Gaza, al-Batuf, Kaabiyah-Tabash-Hajjajra, Jadeida-Makr, Umm al-Fahm, Jat, Tiberias, Beitar Illit, Kfar Qana, Rechasim and Zemer.
