Prison for four tourists for sexually assaulting two minors in Seville

A judge in Seville on Wednesday afternoon ordered provisional imprisonment for four young people who allegedly sexually assaulted two minors last Saturday.

The victims, aged 15 and 16, were recorded with a mobile phone, as reported by the National Police this Thursday.

The four implicated, of French nationality, were arrested on Monday at the Seville airport when they tried to return to Paris.

The adolescents received assistance at the Virgen Macarena University Hospital.

The detainees, who had no police record, were spending a few days in the Andalusian capital.

They met the girls last Saturday on a terrace in the Alameda de Hércules, in the center of the city.

First they invited them to several alcoholic drinks and later they convinced them to celebrate a party in the apartment where they were staying, which had an attic with a swimming pool, where they drank more alcohol.

The aggressors took advantage of the high state of intoxication and disorientation of the adolescents to allegedly sexually assault them, despite their resistance.

The men recorded the scene with a mobile phone.

The investigation began this Monday, after the Virgen Macarena University Hospital, where the minors were admitted, made the facts known to the court, from where the Group of Minors (Grume) of the National Police was notified.

Agents located the suspects in less than six hours.

The proceedings made it possible to identify the alleged perpetrators, and learn that they were going to catch a flight that same afternoon to Paris.

Once arrested, they were brought to justice, which decreed the immediate imprisonment of all of them.
