President Alberto Fernández had to respond to the harsh letter written by Pablo Musse, the man who was not allowed to say goodbye to his daughter suffering from cancer due to the health measures imposed in the province of Córdoba in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

Interviewed by journalists Marcelo Bonelli and Edgardo Alfano, on the TN news channel, the President showed some annoyance when consulted on the subject.

Alfano read on the air a fragment of the letter in which Musse indicated his expectation that the words of his daughter Solange ("Until the last breath I have my rights") would

reach the "heart of the president

, if he has it."

After listening to the fragment, Fernández appealed to honesty and assured that "he had not read the letter" and that he "knew very well" what had happened.

"What can I tell him? He's a father who lost his daughter.

I can't tell him anything,

" the President apologized.

Bonelli and Alfano explained that Pablo's pain was because they had not allowed him to say goodbye to his daughter.

Then, Fernandez asked:

"Who did not allow him?"

.

"The government of Cordoba," Bonelli replied.

Fernández assured that he did not take "any freedom" from Musse.

And he continued saying that he could not do anything other than accompany him in his pain and show him all his solidarity.

He insisted that he will not reply to the letter, which he promised to read.

"I am not going to answer a father who has lived through such a misfortune. I am only going to be by his side. If I can do something to calm his grief, I would be delighted," he closed.

In his letter, Pablo Musse had written: "Mr. President, in a statement you said that no one here takes away freedom from anyone. I want to correct it: you and the government of Córdoba took away my daughter Solange's freedom and rights; rights universal basics of any person in the last moments of his life ", begins the letter that Musse published on Facebook.

"She complained for her rights and asked to see me before her departure, but you and the government of Córdoba did not allow it. Not only that, but me and my sister-in-law Paola Oviedo, with different abilities,

were treated as terrorists

. We were escorted by the police from four provinces a 900-kilometer journey. Some said "like criminals." Badly said, because their government released more than 5,000 criminals and the police did not escort them, "he added.

Clarín

got in contact with Pablo Musse to ask him what he thought about Fernández's words about his letter.

"It's unfortunate, outrageous.

It causes us more pain,

" Musse replied.

"That he has not found out and that he does not know what happened with Solange, is a joke. His case appeared in the national and provincial media, for more than ten days. Before Solange's death and afterwards. Supposedly the DNU - which lets family member say goodbye to terminally ill people - he left after what happened with Solange, "said Solange's father.

And he added: "We feel a lot of

indignation, anger and pain

. We never expect much from politicians. But for him to say that he was not aware of Solange's case is outrageous. He is the only Argentine who was not aware of what happened to the Solange issue. ", Hill.
